Bob Saget sounds out on Giraldo’s death
Funnyman Bob Saget has joined the ranks of several comedians who are reacting with shock and sadness upon hearing the news of the unexpected death of Greg Giraldo.
In typical potty-mouthed fashion, Saget posted the following message on his Twitter page when he heard about the sudden loss to the world of comedy, tweeting, “Greg Giraldo. Love and peace. So f—ing funny.”
Giraldo, 44, was a stand-up comedian and frequent roaster on the popular Comedy Central series, appearing most recently on the dais for the roast of David Hasselhoff. Greg also appeared as a judge for the reality TV show “Last Comic Standing.” His death on Wednesday was caused by an apparent overdose of prescription medication ingested while partying last Saturday night in his hotel room in East Brunswick, NJ.
